Tie-up Chains with Loops – strong, versatile and easy to use
Tie-up chains consist of a continuous series of small, evenly spaced loops that can be threaded through or around various parts of the loom. The loops make it easy to adjust and fasten the tie-up chain using straight pins or anchor pins, depending on your setup.
This loop system is designed for flexibility and precision in tie-ups, treadle connections, shafts, counterweights and warp beams.
Choose between thicknesses 1/12 or 1/20, as well as different lengths, depending on your needs.
Tip: For most weavers, the thin tie-up chain (1/12) is sufficient, as it has a breaking strength of 80 kg. For heavier loads, we recommend the stronger tie-up chain (1/20).
